One of A&A’s oldest clients, the National Conference of Editorial Writers, has named Joan Armour an Honorary Life Member. Her citation said, “During nearly five decades of devoted service, Joan L. Armour has been an enthusiastic and tireless supporter of the National Conference of Editorial Writers. Using her creativity and energy, she has nurtured and enriched our organization in countless ways.”
Mistress in Training, a novel edited and designed by Armour&Armour, won a gold medal for best romance from the Independent Publisher Book Awards. The book was published by Nashville’s Premium Press America.
Company chair Joan Armour won the Excel Award from International Association of Business Communicators, Nashville chapter. The award, the highest presented by IABC to non-members, honors lifetime achievement in business communications.
For its work on ReLeaf Nashville, Armour&Armour received Best of Show at the Nashville Public Relations Society of America’s Parthenon Awards, a National Arbor Day Foundation Project Award, and a PRSA Silver Anvil national award of excellence.
